When plants grow naturally in the wild, they sustain themselves without our help. However, the ones we try to cultivate often fall ill easily and cannot defend themselves. If this happens, we must acknowledge that we are making a mistake somewhere. Today, instead of focusing on the root causes, solutions are being made based on symptoms, providing temporary fixes. In the long run, this only covers up the issue, turning it into an even more complicated problem. Farmers, caught in this cycle, are overwhelmed by increasing costs and problems. As I have always said, we must urgently put an end to this unsustainable farming model with long-term, structural, and holistic agricultural reforms.
